Hello CSC,
For specifically laser drivers/modulators, we have reference designs for very low frequencies intended to drive LEDs, and we have a very high frequency reference design for optical network communication which would be overkill for this…
Thanks for all of the information and correction. Does anyone know how I can get the design files listed in Section 4 of the TIDA-060002 document? Is the reference board available for purchase?
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TIDA-060002 Hello, I would like to know if the reference design TIDA-060002 will be eventually available as a demonstration board. We would like to test this design for applications using a laser seed diode with a bandwidth…
Can I also get all of the design files for the TIDA-060002? I see section 4 of this Reference design has downloads, but how do I get all of the files?
Can you send me .PDF files of the drill/fabrication drawings and each Gerber file for both the Evaluation…
You might also take a look at this TI Design of paralleling the THS3491,
And yes, normally you would want to get the slug into a plane that perhaps goes through the board to heat sinks onthe back of the board. Deadbugging them up will impair AC response…
When you parallel power amps for load sharing you need a ballast resistor to share the current suppress excessive output to output currents due to mismatched offset voltage, this document digs pretty deeply into that, but gives you the basics as well…
