Because of the Thanksgiving holiday in the U.S., TI E2E™ design support forum responses may be delayed from November 25 through December 2. Thank you for your patience.
With a 12 V supply, the drive strength should be similar.
Figure 6-44 shows that the output voltage range depends mainly on the load.
I would strongly suggest the more modern TL082H, which is cheaper and has rail-to-rail outputs.
Hey Maggie,
There are a couple changes you can make to see the stability of this circuit, however the TL082 model is fairly outdated and may not accurately model stability.
There is a newer version of this device, the TL082H, which I will use for this…
Hello Calvin
I suspect that this is a parasitic path that is capacitance and resistance in series.
I suggest added and input low pass filter to slow the input signal. Or use TL082H that doesn't have this direct path.
Hi Dylan,
it's essentially the same. Often (but not always) "Aol" is specified without load resistance and "Avd" is specified with defined load resistance.
Keep in mind, that the datasheet contains two totally different OPAmps…
Hi Kai
Thanks a lot for your detail answer. Yes, because TL082H is not a rail to rail input amps, so I replace TL082H by TLV9352 which has better performance. The diode in fact is a Mosfet, for easy to understand so I replace it by a diode. Of course…

Hi Klaus,
the phase reversal of the TL082 can even be seen in the TINA-TI simulation, allthough not necessarily taking place at the correct input voltage:

Keep in mind, that the TL082 and TL082H are no RRIO OPAmps (input output rail to…

According to this technical note , The old JFET TL072 had increasing distortion with increasing source impedance, which I assume was also true of the…

What's the major difference between TL081H and TL071H? I'm wired about these two family.
