Part Number: TLV1812 Tool/software: Hello,
I use TLV1812 as a window comparator.
Pin 2 of TL1812 in the schematic below is oscillating.
Oscillation occurs when the input voltage falls below the reference voltage of -22mV.
When the input voltage is below…
Hi Asha,
2. Please note that even though TL331-EP has an extended temperature range when compared to the TL331LV, they are not the same spec. TL331LV is rail-to-rail input has an input common mode voltage range of 0V to VCC, while TL331-EP has an input…
Hello, as Clemens suggested, correct operation may not apply below a supply voltage of 2V, and using a power-on reset comparator such as TLV1812 should work.
Best,
Michael
Part Number: TLV1821 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TLV1812 Hello,
We are TLV1821 comparator which is open drain as per 9.1.1.1 operation mentioned in schematic , like without hysteresis and a basic comparator. What is the VOH and VOL in this case?
We…
Hi Cafain,
Please see section 4.2 of the LM339 family application note:
Application Design Guidelines for LM339, LM393, TL331 Family Comparators
Risetime is purely dependent on the RC time constant on the output. Once the output "releases", it is up…

Hi Sharu,
I see on the TLV7032 data sheet that IN+/- can be up to 100mV higher than V+/lower than V-.
It is similar on TLV1812 (rail-to-rail +/-200mV) and TLV1851 (IN+/- can be from -0.1V to 40V independent of V+).
If using TLV1851 (or another comparator…
