TLV6710: Is there any potential risk if the VDD of TLV6710 turns to be 0V but there is a 1V input at Vin?

    TI Thinks Resolved
Part Number: TLV6710 Hello, I am using TLV6710 comparator, my normal supply to VDD is 24V, but sometimes this VDD supply can be 0V at abnormal state, and Vin will be about 1V input at this condition. So I want to know if there is any potential risk...

    RE: TLV6713: TLV6713

Yanni Another option would be to use the TLV6710 which is the window comparator version of the TLV6713. The unused non-inverting configuration can be put in a fixed output state while the inverting configuration can be used for the use case you described...

RE: LM358: Any alternative Op Amp for a comparator to work with MSP430

A0: You change the three resistors to set the thresholds. The TLV6700 is the tighter-spec version of the TPS3700. This cookbook circuit will show you how to calculate the resistor values for a window comparator: www.ti.com/.../snva832 (The TLV6710...

RE: LM393: Dual comparator with Zener Diode

Hi TS, in addition to what Paul mentioned, if the customer is looking to configure the dual comparator as a window comparator and if p2p replacement is not important, then they should look at the TLV6710 thanks Tushar
