Yes I see that that family of parts has been certified. If you are asking if we can certify TPS5450 (and possibly other parts), I would have to know the business case. How many Mu/y do you plan on using? I can see if our group wants to consider it.

Thanks for the quick reply. You missed a '4'. :) My question is about the TPS545 4 0 and not the TPS5450! Peter

Your post is quite good - yet would benefit from inclusion of the relative importance of the following: a) overall cost b) circuit size c) circuit performance d) expected production volume e) availability of basic eval board so that you may…

Hello Relay Man 2, What you are describing could be a normal DCM mode waveform. Does it look like something like in this E2E post: https://e2e.ti.com/support/power-management/f/196/t/282230?Switching-Node-TPS5450-No-Load ? If yes, it is normal DCM…

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS54233 , TPS5450 Hi all, We need support to choose step-down switching regulators. Our idea is to have 2 product ranges, a medium range with an output current (Io) from 1.5A to 2A , and a high range from 3A to 5A . …

Of all devices used in our lab (30 pcs) only one was faulty at 7V, so I'm taking a closer look at spickes on the input voltage. The supply voltage of 11V is also routed to an external display, and one could disconnect it while the voltage is on. When…
