We just started a new design, and we were concerned about availability.
Now we just tried to order just parts for prototyping and no availability anywhere.
Is this part truly going to be in mass production? What is our supply risk? Where do we can at…
Part Number: TPS562211 I was wondering if it would be possible to obtain a Mean Time To Fail(MTTF) value for this component. If not, is there any other data available in regards to the components reliability and expected lifetime?
Hi ,
For P2P , you can refer below table.
For not p2p buck, you can try other 17v 2/3A buck : TPS563211,TPS562211,TPS563201/2/7/8,TPS562201/2/7/8.

Hi Aki,
TPS56339(SOT236 package) has high side OC protection with P2P and TPS561201. TPS563211 and TPS562211(SOT583 package) both have high side OC protection .

Edwin.
Marco,
I would take a look at TPS562202, It doesn't have the ability to use softstart or mode selection, but I would expect it to behave similar to TPS562211.
Thanks,
Joseph
Hi,
If the Vin=5V, TPS54231 is too much over sepc as it's a 28V buck.
Are you oaky with 17V level buck? there are many options here:
TPS563211/TPS562211: 18V 2/3A buck
TPS563201/2 : 17V 3A buck
TPS562201/2: 17V 2A buck
TPS563231: 17V 3A buck
and if…
Hi Denny,
For the min duty support, suggest to consider the worst case Duty=110 ns* Max Freq 510 Khz = 5.6% .
For 18Vin-0.8Vout , 2/3A solution , suggest to choose TPS56339 (24Vin 3A SOT236) or TPS563211 (18Vin,3A, SOT583) ,TPS562211 (18Vin ,2A,SOT583…
