Hi,
The VCA810 has a max gain of 40dB (100 V/V) when the VC pin is set at -2V. Since you only need 900 V/V and can get 100V/V from the VCA810, I would actually suggest you just follow the first stage with a gain of 9 V/V amplifier instead of using…

My customer is using VCA810 to control the sine waveform amplitude, see schematic below, but they find that our device will cause a non-linear issue to…
Hi Sean!
Thank for your reply!
Can you recommend a device that is similar to the VCA810 function and less noisy than it is?
Make sure my effective signal (Min=1~2uV) is not submerged in the noise,
thank you very much!
Best regards

Part Number: VCA810 Hello,
Can we use VCA810 as single-end and AC-cuppled input as below?
This circuit will be used in Audio equipment for Volume control. Would you please advise me how ot use in Audio equipment.

Part Number: VCA810 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TINA-TI , VCA821 Hi,
Gain accuracy is specified as below;
Though I simulate Gain accuracy on TINA-TI, it is not matched with specification.

Part Number: VCA810 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: VCA822 Dear all,
I need to control the amplitude of a sinusoidal signal with frequency between 0 and 1 kHz and amplitude 1V. I am guessing to use the VCA810 with a voltage analog input 0 - 5V.

Put a 8.8uF blocking capacitor in between the VCA810 output and the 50 ohm resistor to get rid of the DC offset at the output. Also, refer to Figure 30 of the datasheet. Yes the design is fine.
Best regards,
Sean

Part Number: VCA810 Hello, I have an application where I need to use a VGA but I also need to get a monotonic step response. With "monotonic" I mean that I need first-order responses and avoid overshoots, especially for the falling edge of the input signal…
Part Number: VCA810 Hi
There is the characteristics graph of frequency and gain on the datasheet.
What does this graph mean? Is DC(=low frequency) input acceptable?
Our customer measured the output voltage with DC input (+IN=-0.5V and -IN…
