Part Number: VCA821
My test of the board shows that the waveform would not have distortioin if it output within about 70mVpp
but it would have distortion if it output too high
I have asked someone, be told that my input have offset, but the output…
Hi Betul,
VCA822 is the more accurate device. You may also look into the VCA821, LMH6505, and LMH6503 as they have better accuracy as well.
Since these devices have internal gain adjust circuitry, there is no way to improve the accuracy of the gain unfortunately…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: VCA821 , OPA847 I cascaded the OPA847 and VCA821
my input signal was around 20mV (sine wave)
the OPA847 was set at a gain of 20.
the VCA821 was set at a gain of 2.
However, the output at the VCA821 looked like a square wave…
On its datasheet page 9, figure 3, I wonder how I could get the value of 20dB from Vpp = 1V on the curve Rf=1kohm ? ( basically, how could I use the equation there to get the plot ? ) I tried myself with all equations in the datasheet but still could…
Hello Zhe,
It looks to me like figure 34 should have been a linear scale instead of logarithmic. The curves line up well at the left and right side of the graph, but you are correct, they don't look accurate in the middle. If you check the EC table…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: VCA821 , VCA820 , VCA822 , VCA824 Hallo,
I have a question. What are VCTRL0 and VSLOPE in the VCA820 / VCA821 datasheet and Figure7 of the VCA821 datasheet? The VCA822 / VCA824 have not these specs. Are these specs for the gain…
Part Number: LMH6505 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: VCA822 , VCA820 , VCA821 , VCA824 , LMH6714 , LMH6609 Hello, My customer would like to use LMH6505 as an AGC described in the figure 49 in the datasheet. However, they would like to use LMH6505 with V…
Part Number: INA149 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: VCA821 , VCA824 Hi team,
My customer wants to find a alternative device or alternative solutions to take over AD8130ARMZ-REEL7 (Low cost Differential Receiver Amplifiers)
Could you help me to find a P2P…
Well let's assume a dB/V gain adjust is preferred, the two choices you have are the 150MHz VCA820 or the 720Mhz VCA821 - here is an HD plot for the VCA820. If you are going to follow this with a 30Mhz LP, that will attenuate harmonics, so lets focus on…
Part Number: LMH6505 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: VCA820 , VCA822 , VCA821 , VCA824 Hi,
We are using the LMH6505, its gain will change with the temperature. I want to ask
-The left gain coefficient of temperature, do we can use right gain forum to calcualte…
