Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMX2581 dear
l use lmx2581 achieved the convert of 65M input frenquency to 1615.68M output frenquency; now l usede TI lmx2581 evm board ;
when l testing l found the vtune voltage is in 0.5-2.2, correct ,but the LD…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMX2581 Dear Team,
One of my Customers is using the LMX2581 and it relates lock time of the PLL.
According to the datasheet, there are two locking time (see table on page 8 and Figure 7 page 10). First case: "No pre…
dear
l use ti lMX2581 EVM,my input frenquency is 10MHZ,output frenquency is 1615.68MHZ, vtune voltage is 1.3v,
LD voltage is high ;my loop parameters setting is as follows :
l measured output frequency in different bandwidth as follows :

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMX2581 , ADC081500 Hi
Our customer is going to use LMX2581 at 1GHz(max) with ADC081500.
How should we connect the CLK output of LMX2581 to ADC081500?
Do we need any buffer between LMX2581 and ADC081500?
Regards…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMX2581 , LMX2571 Hello, We are looking to minimize the spurs and phase jitter on the lmx2581 we are designing into a product. We are using a 50MHz reference TCXO and are trying to synthesize several frequencies, the first…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMX2581 Hi,
I am using the TI LMX2581 and a mixer in a "S-band to UHF-band frequency translator". I need the LMX2581 to output frequencies in the range of 2880MHz to 3000MHz based on commands from a FPGA (Zynq 7000 Zedboard…
Thanks for all help Dean!
We have been through a bit of testing, and we're on the right track. Driving direct without balun seem just fine, and there's more power than we'll ever need.
The following sweep indicates that phase noise is not yet optimal…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMX2592 , LMX2581 What technology is utilized in LMX2592 and LMX2581. Is it CMOS or GaN or others? I need this information for qualification purposes.
Patrice,
The outputs of the LMX2581 are open collector and require a pull-up component; there is no push-pull configuration. The output impedance is equal to whatever pull-up component is used. So if you want 50 ohms, then use the 50 ohm pull-up. At…
