    Part Number: SN65HVS882 I am trying to support an old design that uses the chip. The RE outputs are left open. Is this OK? I notice in the datasheets that these are tied to an LED to ground.

    Hi Anindya, There is no internal integrity check mechanism in serializer parts. But you should be able to check the integrity by the traditional method of externally forcing the logic. Regards Tejas H

    Hi, Which version of the ICE board do you have, and what is the version of the Industrial SDK that you use? Can you check the LP pin of the SN65HVS882? It should be held high during the entire time the byte is shifted out of the serializer.
