Hello Weimang, Unfortunately we can't locate the ESD information for the XTR115/116. It would take at least a month to generate ESD data for the product, is it necessary for us to perform these tests?

Hello, I have a feeling that this system is suffering from some type of grounding issue or an issue with the floating input requirements for the 2-wire transmitters. While that is my first guess at the problem because it's a very common one, the second…

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: XTR116 , XTR115 Hi, I need to build a 4-20mA transmitter, that converts a linear resistance of a potentiometer to a 4-20ma Output. I decided to use XTR115/XTR116. But I need also to provide a square signal that has…

Hi, Figure 1 on page 5 in the datasheet shows us the basic idea about XTR115 design. Could you share us more information about your strain gauge sensor? Is it a voltage output ? How much is the Full-Scale Range of the sensor? Besides, what is your goal…

Weiming, As I understand from your statement is that earlier you have given 2 wire interface, VCC and 4-20mA output as per xtr115 datasheet. But I couldnt make out which will be your third wire? Is it Ground or 0V? Regards Shrikant L

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: XTR115 I performed a quick test yesterday with the transmitter that has the XTR115 in it. The Ra is the load resistor in series with the XTR, and was 5000ohms. The current loop runs through both. An AC signal is applied…

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: XTR115 Hi, We are using an XTR115 driven by a PWM signal from a PIC processor to generate 4-20 mil output in one of our sensors. I have recently noticed a 200 to 300Hz parasitic on the output that causes the current…
