1. Would you please confirm that the silkscreen bar (highlighted by the red-line) on the top side of the DRL (8-SOIC) package is the north side of said package, and that pin 1 is in the north-west corner? (Photo 1 )

2. Would you tell me also if there may be signs of machining on the surface of microcircuits during the production process ? (Photo 2)

    Hello Sergey,

    The OPA2140AIDR pin 1 is located at the left end of the bar that extends across the top of the package image you provided.

    There is nothing in the OPA2140AIDR manufacturing flow indicating a surface machining process between mold cure and marking. I would expect the top surface plastic to have a like finish to the rest of the package.
