Old date code,

I ordered LT1013CD , 3850PCS, but the date code is very old, DC: 1606+5, It is longer than 5 year's shelf life. I was concerned the quality, so can you give a guarantee ?

Hi Andy,

Did you purchase the LT1013CD product from TI directly, or one of TI's authorized distributors? See:

If not, then we have no way of knowing how the product has been stored over that time period. If improperly stored that it could affect the product quality.

Additionally, TI and its authorized distributors don't normally keep product on the shelf for sale beyond two years. There can be some exceptions. See the following information:

Chances are the LT1013CD devices are electrically good, but when it comes to long term reliability the factors associated with long term storage can reduce the product life. TI cannot provide any assurances about the product quality for this 5+ year old product.
