OPA2365: About the absolute maximum rating of input terminals.

Part Number: OPA2365

Hello guys,

One of my customers is going to use OPA2365 for their new products.

At this moment, they have the following questions about OPA2365 absolute maximum rating

of input terminals. Could you please give me your reply?

Q1. The absolute maximum voltage of input terminal is described as -0.5V(Min)/+0.5V(Max)

in page 4 of the device datasheet (Ver. SBOS365F).

The customer think that these values are wrong and (V−) − 0.5V(Min)/ (V+) + 0.5V(Max) are correct.

(In OPA2365-Q1 datasheet (Ver.SBOS512E), the input terminal absolute maximum is described

      as (V−) − 0.5V(Min)/ (V+) + 0.5V(Max).)

      Is their understanding correct?

Q2, If the answer for Q1 is yes, do you have any plan to modify the rating description?

And when is the modification timing?

Q3, If the answer for Q1 is no, why are those descriptions are different?

Your reply would be much appreciated.

Best regards,

Kazuya.
