Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TLV9152, TLV2172
Hi team,
What is the Open loop gain of TLV272? I didn't find it in the datasheet. Thanks!
Thanks & best regards,
Wendy

Hello Wendy,
I agree with Michael in changing to the TLV9152 for the design.
As for your question, the open loop gain is Figure 12 of the datasheet:
All the best,
Carolina
Hi Michael, Carolina,
Got it. Besides TLV9152, is there any other part number of operation amplifier you think more suitable? Generally, lower input bias current compared to TLV272 is better, no other specific requirements.
Thanks a lot!
Thanks & best regards,
Wendy
Hi Wendy,
If they really only care about input bias, I would recommend taking a look at the TLV2172 which has a pretty low typical bias value for the voltage range it covers!
Let me know if this helps!

Hi Robert,
Besides operation frequency, any other factors have negative impacts on open loop gain decrease?
From the figure of TLV272, maybe not too much improvements by upgrading to TLV9152 & TLV2172. My customer uses it as voltage follower to drive cable shields.
Thanks & best regards,
Wendy
Hi Wendy,
The other factor that the customer/user would want to verify before choosing an alternative part would be to look at the stability of the amplifier in the system! Verifying the load and whether the alternative op-amps would be stable under those conditions is key!

Hi Robert,
Thank you!
As shown in this figure, besides operation frequency, any other factors have negative impacts on open loop gain decrease?
Thanks & best regards,
Wendy
Hi Wendy,
I don't see any other factors that would have negative impacts other than the ones that you mentioned for a decrease in open loop gain.
