PGA308EVM: USB is not recognized

Hello,

I bought a PGA308 eval board from you, it won't recognize the USB on my laptop.

I have gone through checking JUMP4 and JUMP5 (in the "Address Select" section) and everything seems ok. I observed that VID is ok (0x0451) but PID is different and it is not possible to change PID.

Number is "2136" and I can't change it.

I tried many stuff after searching online, seems like the board is defective. FYI, followed this post:

    Hello,

    You have mentioned that you verified JUMP4 and JUMP5 in the "Address Select" section set "L".  Can you please also confirm on the USB DAQ board that JUMP10 is in the WP ON position and JUMP3 is on EE ON position as shown below?  Please see the figures below, and check all jumpers are set to the default position:

    2)  It is important to run the installer executable with administrator privileges. You could attempt to uninstall the software and reinstall as administrator. 

    To uninstall the software, navigate to Control Panel -> Uninstall or change program and right click on PGA309EVM-USB and click uninstall.  To re-install the software with administrator privileges, download the PGA308EVM-USB software from http://www.ti.com/lit/zip/sbc256 and save the file on your PC.  Unzip the sboc256 folder, and navigate to the setup.exe file.  Right click on the setup.exe and select Run as administrator.  Follow the prompts to complete the installation.

    Please let me know if the issue persists after following the steps above.

    Hi Luis,

    Indeed, couple of jumpers were reversed on both DAQ and PGA308EVM (as delivered). I am able to connect now.
