Hi,

Good Day. I have a customer who is working with OPA548EVM. Please see below his query for your reference. Thank you very much.

I am seeking some help with a OPA548EVM op-amp evaluation board

I have it set up for fast follow, and I am able to hit my negative voltage targets, but not my positive voltages

I have an OPA548 op-amp on an evaluation board

I have it set up for fast-follow, and am trying to generate a square wave pulse into a signal generator (high impedance load)

I have my power supply set to +/-24V, and am trying to generate a signal that is ~+/- 4.5

I can hit -4.5V no problem, but I cannot hit +4.5V

My power supply is brand new, calibrated, and validated, so I don't think that is my issue.

    Hi Ray,

    The +/-24 V supplies should be fine, but I need to know how you have the rest of the OPA548 EVM set up. Please provide the following:

    • What is the input signal source, its frequency, amplitude, etc.? Is the signal source terminated at the J5 input?
    • How do you have the various jumper shunts connected? They establish operating conditions and the OPA548 gain.
    • What is the output load connected at J4 or J7?
    • Do the overcurrent, or over temperature LEDs illuminate, or are they OFF? Does the green power LED come on when power is applied?

    Any other information you can provide may prove useful.
