TL331: About VCC and Open-Drain power supply of TL331

There is something I want to check in the TL331 datasheet 8.2 Typical Application. Does the Open-Drain output pullup power supply have to be the same as the VCC of the TL331?

The output is just the collector of a BJT. As shown in the absolute maximum ratings, you can connect it to any voltage.

Yes. You can pull the output up to any voltage up to 36V, regardless of the comparator supply voltage.
