Hi Team,
Below is customer application circuit, they use LM358A and find some devices doesn't meet their production criteria .
NG 5PIN:2.8mV、7PIN:21.5mV
OK 5PIN:2.1mV、7PIN:15.5mV
The output voltage offset will cause customer circuit false trigger,.
we would like to check if the offset still in LM358A spec. ? Do we have other suggested solution?
Thanks & Regards
Eddie Chou
Hello Eddie,
It is in spec.
The gain referenced to pin 5 is 3.3k/1k +1 = 4.3 ; the offset is 0mV if OGND is really 0mV
2.8mV * 4.3 = 12.04mV ; 21.5mV is 9.46mV higher than ideal (error). error/gain = 9.46mV / 4.3 = 2.2mV = Vos
2.2mV is acceptable.
