Dear TI team
Regarding the THS4503EVM schematic, I suspect a description error.
Could you check it out?
Best Regards,
Taroimo

Hi Taroimo,
Was the error you are referencing based off a difference you saw in a physical board and was measured? Or is it a question when just looking at the schematic?
Best Regards,
Ignacio
Hi Ignacio,
On the actual EVM, I have confirmed that the pad on one side of R14 is connected to VS- instead of GND.
Therefore, I also compared the schematic in the EVM user guide and the layout, but I think there is a discrepancy between the two.
Please tell me which is "true", the schematic or the layout.
Best Regards,
Taroimo
Hi Taroimo,
I had trouble locating a spare EVM to confirm your findings, so I ordered an EVM which will take a few days to arrive to confirm the layout. I will get back to you as soon as I have an answer. Thank you for your patience.
Best Regards,
Ignacio
Hi Ignacio,
Thank you for your confirmation.
I've checked the layout of both sides of the EVM by overlaying them, so I'll send it to you.
Best Regards,
Taroimo
Hi Taroimo,
Thank you for the image and I do see your concern; I will get back to you as soon as I have a definitive answer which should be by next week.
Best Regards,
Ignacio
Hi Taroimo,
I received the EVM today and I was able to confirm your findings. The bottom pad of R14 and R16 is connected to -VS like you found, therefore you can go with the EVM layout. Thank you for informing us of this.
Best Regards,
Ignacio
Hi Ignacio,
Thank you for your confirmation.
From now on we will consider the EVM layout to be correct, not the schematic.
Best Regards,
Taroimo
