Hi team,
Customer consider use INA300 in their project, and they get one question about the Alert status during disable state.
They plan to let the part work in LATCH mode, when the ALERT signal get latched, and if they disable the part by pull down the ENABLE pin, does this ALERT signal would be released to high?
Could you help comment on this?
Thanks and best regards,
Will
Hello Will,
I do not have an EVM here in the office to test this case as the datasheet does not say anything about this use case. I have ordered one and will test this when it arrives. My assumption is the alert will go high, but I want to confirm this with bench testing before saying for certain.
Please be on the lookout this week for my reply.
Regards,
Cas
Hello Will,
When the INA300 is working in latch mode and the ALERT signal is latched if you then pull down the ENABLE pin the ALERT will go high. I have confirmed this with bench testing on the INA300 EVM.
