Hello,
I would like to use the LMH6702 in a differential amplifier application (4 resistors of equal values). Can a current feedback amplifier such as the LMH6702 be used like that ? Will the frequency response, linearity or stability be compromised ?
Thank you
Louis
Well Louis, of course it can, just start with the recommended Rf value and go from there, If the source is differential need to think about input impedances. The inverting side has an active impedance element that requires and adjustment to the R values on the Non-inverting input for load matching
We needed to do this exact job inside the THS3217 for the D2S stage, a very wideband CFA. Look on page 32 for a discussion of that issue.
