What is the Absolute Maximum Differential Input Voltage and the Absolute Maximum Input Current?

  • Feller,

To prevent risk of damage, the differential input voltage should be maintained below 1V. We don't specify an absolute maximum input current, however, as discussed on p. 28 of the datasheet, there are input ESD protection diodes that can typically support up to 30mA of current during overvoltage conditions. The typical recommendation is to use resistors in series with the input to limit this current to 10mA.
