THS4302EVM: Single-supply operation of THS4302EVM

Thanks for taking the time to answer my question,

I'm interested in using the THS4302 in single-supply mode (0-5V), and would like to test it out with the evaluation module.  However, Figure 45 of the THS4302 datasheet suggests that operating in single-supply mode requires a bias to be applied to the inverting input of the amp, which is grounded in the evaluation module.  Am I right then in assuming that the evaluation module can't be used to test the THS4302 in single-supply mode?

    Hi Eric,

    Thanks for your question. Below is the schematic for the THS4302EVM. You can use this EVM with single supply, however only in the non-inverting configuration.

    You will need to use a function generator to bias the input signal on pin J1. Meaning both the bias and input signal will be on pin J1, there is not an external bias pin. 

    Please note that with an additional bias, you will need to ensure you are within the input common-mode range as outlined on page 4 of the datasheet.
