Hello,
The data sheet of LM358 family (SLOS068AA) has a functional block diagram in the section 8.2 Functional Block Diagram, but is it applicable to the LM358A, suffix-A version, too? The section name : LM358B, LM358BA, LM2904B, LM2904BA implies that it's applied to only suffix-B versions.
In fact, I'd like to confirm whether there is any different in the internal current regulator values of the LM358A from this functional block diagram.
Best regards,
Shinichi Yokota
The LM358 and LM358A are the same die, the -A is just selected/tested for better characteristics.

Confirming Clemens answer that the A and non-A LM358 are similar design with the A version having higher performance test specifications.
The B version is a similar design with better performance across many specifications. One big change is the constant current sink pulling down the output. More info can be found in the following application note https://www.ti.com/lit/an/sloa277a/sloa277a.pdf
