AMC23C10: AMC23C10: Question about AMC23C10 VDE/UL certification documents.

Dear everyone

We plan to use AMC23C10 in our products.
At this time, we require VDE/UL certification documents to sell our products worldwide.

The AMC23C10 datasheet (6.7 Safety-Related Certifications) states that the device:
For VDE (DIN EN IEC 60747-17 (VDE 0884-17), the certification number is pending certification.
UL certified according to UL1577 component certification. (File number: E181874)

※TI.com's certificate is only based on "CSA component acceptance NO5" and is based on "UL1577 component recognition".

Please let me know how to obtain the VDE/UL certificate.

Hi Horita-Takahiro,

VDE and UL measure the same thing so if the UL certificate is there and VDE is pending it should be okay.

But to obtain the certificate you can go to the UL/VDE website and lookup the file number to access the certificate.
