THS3001: ths3001

Part Number: THS3001

The THS3001 datasheet says "increased feedback resistor lowers bandwidth improving gain and phase margin. Do you have data showing the gain and phase margin for either the R values given in table 1 of the datasheet.? Looking at the pulse responses these values look pretty well damped but any info you can let me have would be most helpful. Best, Steve

  • Hi Steve,

I recommend taking a look at Figures 25-29 and Figures 31-34. These show frequency response for varying feedback resistor values. You will see that increasing the feedback resistors decreases the peaking increases phase margin but decreases bandwidth. Inversely, decreasing the feedback resistor increases the peaking which extends the bandwidth of the device.

    Thanks,

    Nick
