LM339LV: | MSL conflict website vs packaging

Part Number: LM339LV

Hello,

we received a package with partnumber LM339LVRTER.

We noticed a conflict within the MSL information:

  • on website it's stated as MSL1
  • on the packaging label it's MSL2

Please let me know, what is correct.

    Hello Florian,

    You have older material.

    Your batch of LM339LVRTER was assembled in March 2023. 

    The LM339LVRTER MSL level was upgraded from Level 2 to Level 1 in May of 2023 - just after your batch.

    Since the upgrade was an improvement on a commercial device, it did not trigger any PCN notifications.

    So the Web is correct....for current devices. And the bag is correct for your datecode.

    Our standard advice is to always use whatever level is on the bag label....for just this reason.
