Options for voltage sense

Part Number: ISO224EVM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AMC1311, AMC3330

Hi.

I'm trying to choose an evaluation module to test voltage sense for our application. I have some questions about my planned implementation.

In my application, I have a battery pack which has a floating ground and it's mounted to a chassis which is earth ground. Using voltage sensing, I plan to detect what the voltage difference is between the two grounds. I plan to put a shunt resistor between the floating ground and earth ground and put ISO224EVM in parallel with this resistor. In this case, I would follow the TI video on choosing a current sense shunt. It also seems like I could use a voltage divider and AMC1311 to sense the voltage? The 155V battery pack could be supplying anywhere from 200A continuous up to 500A peak.

If anyone could provide some direction towards finding an evaluation module to test then it would be very helpful. I have been clicking through a lot of TI videos and reference designs but I'm not sure I'm making the right considerations since I keep coming across different product lines that seem like they could do what I need and I'm not sure what makes one more appropriate than the other.

Thanks in advance.
