We have a need to do some monitoring on battery cells of diferent chemistries and one of the options on the table is the AMC21C12 as that would cover both overcurrent and overvoltage protection.
I see the device claims a not so low 1.8mA quiescent current on the low side. Is this power consumption static or only applicable when transfering data? If the later, is there an option to sleep in between data transfers to further reduce this power consumption?
