INA231: INA231 short shunt pins impact

Part Number: INA231

Tool/software:

Hi, I'm using INA231 on my board and I change shunt resistor from 0.510mOhms to 0 Ohms.
After that, and few test, INA seems damaged: One board with a INA doesn't anwser (no I2C response) anymore and one more give me wrong value of Vbus.
My setup is design for supply between 1.8 and 3V and for 100mA max current to measure
I don't understand why INA can't support 0 Ohms shunt value as he is specify for -30/+30V on shunt pin and Vshunt can be -82mV to 82mV.
Do you have any idea of what is going wrong?
