Tool/software:
We have downloaded the Mentor footprint and we see a discrepancy between the downloaded footprint and the data sheet.
1. pin 11 Y position is not identical to pin 4 Y position (according to data sheet, they should be identical) - Pin 11 does not match spec.
2. the width (X) of the 13 pads should be 0.7mm according to the data sheet. The footprint is slightly smaller.
Can you please review the footprint and confirm which one is correct?

I’m sorry to hear you find this inconvenience. I have reached out to the model and footprint team and am waiting for a response.
I have checked footprint in Altium and do not see what you report, rather I see the correct layout.
If possible, would please provide any type of image of the problematic layout areas displayed in Mentor. I do not have this installed yet hopefully to check.

1. The position of pin 11 should be (2.85, 0.25), but the Mentor footprint pin 11 position is (2.85, 0.30)
2. In the spec., the width of all 13 pins should be 0.7mm, but the Mentor footprint pins width is 0.65mm and 0.63mm
Although these are small deviations, I would like to get confirmation from you.

1. Does pin 4 (or any other pins) also have the incorrect y coordinate(s)? How are you measuring the coordinates? How do you determine center of package? Altium footprint shows pin 11 y coordinate at 0.2499mm.
2. This seems small, but if they are real I would correct it while I am waiting for any updates from our footprint team in order to align with datasheet and also current EVM and Altium layout which show 0.7mm width.

It looks like the Altium footprint is OK.
The issue is with the Mentor footprint.
I am measuring the distance from the package center - same as the data-sheet defines.
In addition, I wish that the Mentor footprint would also have the round edges as the Altium.

Could the round edges be a setting to change in Mentor?
Is there any chance you could try importing the INA740B just to see if it is any different?
