LM2903: LM2903 Packaging issues

Hi Team,

Customer would like to find a P2P device for NJM12903(VSP8) package. We recommend LM2903BIDGKR.

However, customers have reported that the VSSOP package pins are larger, and P2P replacement will cause problems with the yield rate during welding.

Do we have products with similar packages and parameters that can be P2P with NJM12903 (VSP8)?

This is an urgent replacement project for the client, I would appreciate it if you could reply quickly！

TI's VSSOP (DGK) package conforms to JEDEC MO-187. As far as I can see, JRC's MSOP8 (VSP8) package does not conform to any standard, and indeed has smaller pins.

There is no TI package more similar to VSP8. (TSSOP is even wider.)

I am trying to convince a customer to switch to VSSOP. Can you help confirm that LM2903 has advantages from a parameter perspective? Or can you provide a simple comparison table for us to convince the customer?

The NJM12903 was designed as a clone of the LM2903; the only relevant difference is the price. The newer LM2903B variant is slighly faster, uses less power, and has a smaller input offset error.
