OPA817: Power Down mode

Hello there,

I was going through the datasheet of OPA817. In page number 3, it is shown in the table, to disable the amplifier PD pin must be pulled high. But in page number 21, in the layout recommendation, PD pin is pulled high to enable the amplifier. Also in the PD pin description in page number 16, if the PD pin is not used, it should be pulled high. What exactly the voltage at the pin should be to enable the amplifier?

There are many places in the datasheet that reference the power-down function. All of them agree, except for the text in parentheses in table 6-1, so that one is wrong.

The switching thresholds are specified in section 7.5.

Hello Varun,

I agree with Clemens. The text in parentheses in table 6-2 is incorrect. The switching thresholds is the correct data to follow for enable/disable voltage of the device as pointed out:
