TLV3541: Question about TLV3541DBV package height.

  Thank you for your patience. I asked our packaging expert, and DBV height is 1.45mm, and are working on fixing the general TI packaging site I pointed out earlier. I am looking into the probability of package reaching max value in email thread, will update soon.

  We have two devices that have same pin out and packaging but thinner with 1.1mm max height (SOT-23 THN). The main difference is that both devices are not a FET input amplifier, therefore they will have higher input bias currents but lower offset voltages compared to TLV3541. If the customer is not using high resistor values, then these devices would work for their application as a replacement:

I understood that the maximum height of DBV package is 1.45mm not 1.2mm.

Also thank you for your recommendation for alternative device which has lower height package.

Could I ask you again?
Do you know what is the probability for TLV3541DBV package height to reach the maximum value(1.45mm)?

I understood that the maximum package height for TLV3541IDBVT and TLV3541IDBVR is 1.25mm because the package (DBV) for these devices is assembled at an assigned A&T site and DBV package maximum height which assembled at this A&T site is 1.25mm.

Is my this understanding correct?

Could I ask you an additional questions as the below?

Q1.
Is there any possibility that new A/T site is added for TLV3541IDBVT and TLV3541IDBVR?

Q2.
If Q1 answer is yes, is any PCN issued to inform that new A&T site is added?

Q3.
When new A&T site is added?, is there any possibility that the package maximum height is increase to 1.45mm?

  Thank you for your patience. I checked with our program manager, and there are no plans to add an additional A/T site is added for TLV3541IDBVT and TLV3541IDBVR.

1. There is a possibility of an addition. 
2. Yes PCN will be issued for change or addition of an A/T for this device to inform customer.
3. Depending on which A/T site is added, yes that is a possibility. 

   Edit: One more check with another program manager on any future plans. I should be able to get back by middle of this week with final confirmation.

  I apologize for the delay. Final answer, yes, a new A/T site can be added and CPK analysis is set to 1.45mm. A PCN will be issued when A/T site is added.
