OPA607: OPA607

Part Number: OPA607
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OPA835, OPA376, , OPA310, OPA323, OPA322

Tool/software:

Is there any workable pspice code of any of your general purpose amplifiers? I am working in cadence with the pspice models and none of your models give a gain plot as per the datasheet or when plotting the open loop gain
I have tried all of the follwoing OPA607, OPA323, OPA322, OPA835, OPA376 and OPA310, Please help

Setup of a simple integerator:

Below is for OPA310:

similarly other opamps have their DC gain starting negative. I just need a workable model wthat wont give me convergence issues in cadence, high gain with at least 20 MHz GBW and runs for 5V supply and works as expected like an ideal vcvs OPAMP.

  • Hi,

I believe the issue you are running into is with the circuit not being DC biased correctly as you are seeing the output hit one of the rails. Adding a large Rf resistor will set this DC bias point appropriately and should result in more accurate responses that you are trying to capture. It is also hard to tell what the DC inputs are, however since you are using a single supply configuration, setting Vref to mid-supply is also suggested.

    Best Regards,
