Tool/software:

Hi i m designing a video splitter with 1 input and 8 output video format is HD-SDI anyone can advise if TI have any solution ?

  • Hello Cosgrove,

I apologize we missed your thread here. We do not have a singular 8 channel output. However you can use a combination of our amplifiers for 8 channels.

An example would be to use our OPA3692 and OPA692 as shown in this e2e thread.

If needing integrated features that are specific to video application as well:

      We recommend these devices:

    1. THS7303 (internal selectable filters up to 190MHz, sag correction, AC/DC input bias mode, DC bias/level shift/restore)

    2. THS7353 (internal selectable filters up to 150MHz, sag correction, AC/DC input bias mode, DC bias/level shift/restore)

    3. THS7327/THS7347 (internal selectable filters up to 500MHz, sag correction, AC/DC input bias mode, DC bias/level shift/restore)

    4. THS7316/THS7365 (internal selectable filters up to 36MHz, AC/DC input bias mode, DC bias/level shift/restore)

    5. THS7373  (internal selectable filters up to 350MHz, AC/DC input bias mode, DC bias/level shift/restore)

    6. THS7368/THS7364/THS7372 (internal selectable filters up to 72MHz, AC/DC input bias mode, DC bias/level shift/restore)

    7. THS7360  (internal selectable filters up to 70MHz, AC/DC input bias mode, DC bias/level shift/restore)

    8. THS7376  (internal selectable filters up to 300MHz, AC/DC input bias mode, DC bias/level shift/restore)

I highlighted in bold the devices I would recommend for 50MHz, HD-TVI 1080p 60Hz application.

    Thank you,
    Sima

  • do you have any EVK board or schematic diagram to offer?

  • Hello Cosgrove,

Yes, you could use the OPA3692 + OPA692 (x2), here is an example below from OPA3692 datasheet:

And we have an EVK available for this device, depedning on the package chosen (SOIC or SSOP):

    Thank you,
    Sima
