TLV9001: MSL level dismatch of TLV9001SIDCKR between package of receiving goods and the description on the official website

To the person who is responsible for this issue:

As TI's customer, I just received goods, of which the MSL level discription is inconsistent with what is shown on TI's official website. You can compare the attached two photos to find the inconformity.

Please help check the root cause behind this issue.

Whether there is an upcoming plan for TI to alter the MSL description on the official website.

As shown on ti.com/quality-reliability-packaging-download/report?opn=TLV9001SIDCKR, this device is made at two assembly sites, and the MSL is either 1 or 2. The ordering page shows only the worst case.

Hello Jerry,

As Clemens said, devices that are manufactured at different sites can have different MSL levels depending on the package material BOM.

We list the "worst case" in the tables, and that would be MSL 2.

The box and reel label will state the actual MSL level for that assembly batch. Always believe the label as MSL levels can be upgraded over time.
