We have received LM6132BIN/NOPB – 56 pcs. During incoming inspection, two quality issues arose:

Pin color change. The presence of corrosion foci on the pins of the product. Are such defects allowed, and how to they affect the products functionality?

Hi Kate,

Can you give more details on the lot information for this device? Did you order these directly from TI, or an approved distributor? It is very unlikely that these devices would have made it through our assembly/test process. It also looks like they were not kept in an ESD safe bag, and could have been exposed to the elements.

The damage is concerning, and could have an effect on the functionality of the device. I do not recommend using these devices. Please contact Mouser to see about a return.
