Hello, hope you are doing well! While looking at the datasheet of the INA226-Q1, I was only able to find a value for quiescent current. I had been under the impression that the quiescent current represents the current draw when the device is in an idle state. I want to confirm that during active operation, the INA226 draws a maximum of 420 uA from the power supply pin. Thanks!

Hello Tiffany,

Yes, the INA226 has a maximum IQ of 420µA during active operation (and only a max of 2µA in shutdown mode). Note that this is the current draw into the supply pin and there will also be some current draw into the VBUS pin (if connected), as well as a very small current into IN+ and IN-.
