The LMP91051 is specified as a thermopile AFE. Can it also be used with pyroelectric detectors?

    Hi,

    The LMP9105x were designed essentially for CO2 (and other organic gases with a well characterized IR spectrum) measurements based on thermopile sensors.

    The thermopile output stage generates a voltage with a very low impedance (like a battery), while the Pyro detector output stage generates a voltage with high impedance so the LMP9105x is not well suited for pyroelectric detectors.
