PGA309 EVM evaluation issue

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: PGA309, DAC8555

Hi Sir,

I am evaluating PGA309 EVM_USB EVM board, and found software can’t works fine. The issues are:

1, Vout  doesn’t change with input changes.  I set Vin=0.01V, Vcm=1V, changing gain from 4 to 128, Vout kept as 0.0136V. Even if I disabled output state, Vout didn’t change.

2, Can’t set Vref to 2.5V. Can’t set Vexc.

3, Temperature read data error. Internal temperature measured as ~700C ( 0x2BAD ).

I clicked “write to all registers”  every time if changing settings in block diagram. The board jumpers are set as EVM user guide suggested (SBOU084). DAC8555 works fine. Vexc outputs 3.385V, Vref is measured as 4.096V.  Some screenshots are attached FYI.

At the beginning, I guessed the issue comes from software version not compatible with hardware version. Then, I installed latest software downloaded from website. The issue kept the same. The register can’t be written in to EVM. I changed configure registers and clicks “write all reg” every time, there is no change on PGA309’s working mode, then I clicked “read all reg”, the setting are go back to initiate value.

I try to click “reinitialize to default value”, but it doesn’t work either. If “read all reg” from board, the value are kept as old values. Two screenshots of software version C are as below.

Can you support on how to make the EVM board works up?  Thanks a lot.
