external offset adjustment INA110

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: INA110

Hello,

I tried to find a hint, how to handle the offset adjust pins of an INA110, if no adjustment is required. I got no information on the datasheet. It does not tell me what to do, if offset adjustment is not required or how it works.

It would be nice, if someone could help me. May be the pins can be left unconnected?

Thanks,

Mathias

  • Hi Mathias,

If the INA110 factory trimmed offsets are low enough to meet your system's needs, the offset control pins should be left open. Doing so you can save on the number of external components and achieve the optimum drift as the Offset Adjustment section of the data sheet (Pg. 8) explains.
