Hello,

i am looking for a spice model for the THS4500 family of OpAmps. In the Datasheet it is mentioned there would be one available:

"A SPICE model for the THS4500 family of devices is available through either the Texas Instruments web site (www.ti.com) or as one model on a disk from the Texas Instruments Product Information Center..."

but i could not find anything on the web site.

Can anybody help me out or give me a hint?

Hello,

thanks for your quick answer. I want to use the model within a different Spice programm (LTspice). Is it possible to extract the model from TINA-TI?

Hi Julian,

The THS4501 model can be imported into other simulators because it does not seem to be encrypted (although I've not done it). If you double click the device and select "Enter Macro", you'd see the text file associated with it. You could save this text file as *.lib and then do your importation.

Just one more thing:

You have to copy the whole file "Fully-Differential Amplifiers.LIB" located in the "SPICELIB" folder in your TINA-TI installation. Because the THS4501 macro uses two subcircuits (diff2_f1, diff2_f2) who are missing in the export from TINA-TI as mentioned by Hooman.
