LMH6624 minimum AOL at 10MHz

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMH6624, LMH6629

Dear Specialists

My customer is considering LMH6624.

He wants to confirm minimum AOL at 10MHz.

His minimum requirement is 30dB@10MHz at all lots and temperatures.

Typical AOL is 40dB, so it has a possibility.

Also, He needs a evidence.

Could you please give me some data.

Best regards,

  • Hi Shinichi,

Unfortunately, just as in the case of the LMH6629 (your other post), beyond the existing Open Loop Gain / Phase plots over temperature, I don't have any way to provide proof that @10MHz Aol is > 30dB for all cases!

Here  are the LMH6624 datasheet plots for reference:

Here is a possibility to consider:

The LMH6624 production testing includes a DC open loop gain (called "Large signal voltage gain") which indicates that there is 9dB (81dB to 72dB) variability at DC:

Going by this data as a substitute for a production test @10MHz specifically, I'd say that the 30dB gain @ 10MHz is virtually guaranteed given the 9dB variation compared to typical of about 41dB.

    Hooman

  • Dear Hooman,

    Thank you for your reply.

I'll send this information to the customer.

according to your suggestion, Aol will be over 30dB.

    I appreciate your great help.

    Best regards,

    Shinichi
