Hi all,

I'm trying to find a current shunt monitor IC which has bandwidth about 200K Hz && with a common mode range covering 0-2V && with a typical supply voltage about 3.3V

I found one product which is INA 230. The only problem for this product is the bandwidth is much lower than expected.

Is there any suggestion?

Hi Yu Geng,

I have a few questions for you:

Do you have a voltage, current, or I2C output preference?
Do you need bi-directional measurement?
What kind of accuracy do you need?
What is your current range?
What is driving your bandwidth? It is step changes in common mode for common mode PWM?

1. I prefer a voltage output, or I2C output is also good
2. I just need one direction measurement
3. I prefer less than 200u V
4. the current will be less than 50 mA
5. my switching freq is about 200K Hz
My common mode will vary between 0 - 3 V

Hi Yu,

Our best recommendation is the INA225. It is a voltage output, 250-kHz Bandwidth, offset voltage ±150 μV max in all gains.
