Will asymmetric rails on the RC4558 effect the slew rate?

Hello,

Would using asymmetric power supplies (i.e +12 and -15V) on the RC4558 effect the slew rate? I'm thinking since it can operate in single supply mode, it might not be a problem, but wanted to verify.

There should be no change in the slew rate because of this.

Just one follow up here. Is there anything we should be concerned about in using asymmetric rails? Will it go into compression or anything like that?

Jamaal,

No problems like that.

For +12V , -15V there is just a 3V reduction in some spec (relative to +/-15V)

For example common mode range will be -12V to +9V instead of -12V to +12V.
