AMC1200: How to verify the surge capability

The document to verify the AMC1200 actually is the IEC61000-4-5 which defines the waveforms and voltage levels applied to the AMC1200 device. There are specialized testers available which can generate the waveforms used in the testing - Teseq/Ametec makes a tester, EMC Partners makes a tester, there are others as well.

Thanks a lot for prompt response.
I apologize I didn't describe the question well. We know IEC61000-4-5 is a system level test item, end equipment will add R, C, TVS ... to achieve this test criteria. Due to AMC1200 datasheet shows it can pass IEC61000-4-5 without any notice of test conditions that cause customer think this device can withstand surge via pins directly. So, I want to confirm with you is customer's thought correct? If not, how we guarantee it and what is the test condition? Is there any circuit can be referenced?

Page 12, section 7.3.2 provides the test conditions under which every production device is tested.  The 1.2/50 and 8/20 wave-forms are described in the IEC document.  Each DUT is placed in a socket and tested directly across the isolation barrier via the pins.  You can also review this document if you like - it's related to the reinforced isolation of the AMC1301 so the voltage levels are higher, but the test method is the same with the AMC1200:

Thanks very much for providing the answer. I would like to ask another question, why only AMC1200 shows it is compliant with IEC61000-4-5 but others don't(like ISO7741, it's test method is IEC60065).
