Is it possible to operate LMH6502 with 5V single supply?

    Hello,

    Yes, the LMH6502 supports single supply operation. Using a 5V supply is possible since you would be on the lower end of the operating conditions. Also make sure to shift your ground pin to mid-supply as specified in the single supply section of the datasheet.

    Thank you for your reply.

    I have one more question.

    The resistor R1 and R2 to shift ground to mid-supply voltage is 510ohm in the example.

    Is there reason why 510ohm value is selected?  Is it possible to use other value?

    Hello,

    It is fine to use other resistor values for your voltage divider. Using smaller values will lead to larger current consumption and therefore more power used in your overall design. On the other hand, using very large resistances leads to issues such as thermal noise.
