OPA2695: Exposed PAD connection

I cannot find the info in the datasheet.

Can you confirm that for the OPA2695 in QFN package the exposed pad must be connected to the negative supply rail and not to the ground plane ?

Hi Thomas,

The exposed pad of OPA2695 in QFN package is electrically isolated from the die. So, you could connect the exposed pad either to the negative supply rail or the ground plane.

Hi Thomas,

A correction for the exposed thermal pad of OPA2695, and I am sorry for the mix-up. The OPA2695 is junction isolated and not dielectrically isolated. So, the thermal pad must be connected to the most negative supply. This is negative supply for the bipolar supplies or ground for single supply.
